Greenly Art Space will be hosting the opening reception for "Darkness and Light" on Oct. 21st from 7-9pm.  This show is an artistic exploration of darkness and light by survivors of sexual assualt served by Counsel to Secure Justice (CSJ) in India, and young men and woman serving with Word Made Flesh in Sierra Leone. 

 

At the opening only: The Dancing Storytellers, Ulka Simone Mohanty and Shyamala Moorty, will perform "A Butterfly Dreams".  Enjoy original art created and donated by local artists for a silent auction to support CSJ.  Also on opening night hear from CSJ founder Jon Derby about his inspiring work in Dehli, India.  There is no fee to attend this event, but a $10 donation is suggested. 

 

Greenly Art Space is located at 2698 Junipero Ave. #113, Signal Hill, CA 90755.  This exhibit is free and open to the public, and runs from October 21st-Nov. 25th.
